Rammy peering through a magnifying glass, curious.

Collecting and scanning

What can I collect with Collect-O-Rama?

Anything. Each kind of thing gets its own space: a Garage for die-cast cars, a Watch Cabinet, a Sneaker Wall, a Record Crate, a Card Binder, a Brick Bin, a Pen Case, a Pin Board, and a new space whenever you start collecting something else. Drawers group items inside your collection however you like.

Can the app identify an item from a photo?

Yes. Point your camera at an item and the app reads its name, maker, details and any printed reference numbers, and the barcode if it has one. If it picked the wrong one, it suggests other likely matches. Recognition uses AI and can be wrong, so you check each find before it's filed.

What does Authenticity unverified mean?

Things that are often faked are marked Authenticity unverified. The scan identifies what an item is; it can't tell you whether it's genuine. An identification is never an authentication.

Can I import my collection from Excel or Google Sheets?

Yes. Import from Excel, a Google Sheets link or a CSV. Every row is previewed before anything is saved, sorted into matched, new, to decide, already yours and unreadable. You can export your collection any time.

Values and the Swap Meet

Where do the values come from?

Die-cast cars have a catalog with market prices today. Value figures come from market listings and community-logged sales, filtered statistically. Other collectibles are recognized by the scan, and you keep your own estimate until a price source exists for them. You can add what you paid, see value by brand, series, year or drawer, and get a weekly collection summary.

Can I use the values for insurance?

Not on their own. Values are estimates for hobby purposes: not appraisals, not insurance valuations and not financial advice. For insurance, ask an appraiser. Your collection is easy to export as your own record.

Can I buy, sell or trade with other collectors?

Yes, at the Swap Meet. Save the items you want to your wishlist and get told when one is for sale. Deals are arranged between collectors: DCG Labs Inc. is not a party to them, doesn't hold funds and doesn't authenticate items. The terms explain the rules.

Your account and the beta

Is my collection private?

Yes. Your collection is private by default, and your email address is never shown to other collectors. A public profile is off until you turn it on, and then you choose which drawers and wishlist show. What you paid, where you bought, your notes and values are never shown. Items you list for sale or trade appear in the Swap Meet. The privacy policy has the details.

What does Collect-O-Rama cost?

Joining the beta is free. The core app has a free tier. There may also be paid subscriptions and optional one-time purchases, such as more Collect-O-Bucks or extra collection capacity. Every price is shown before you buy, and you can cancel a subscription any time.

Which phones does it work on?

iPhone and Android. Pick your phone when you join the beta, or choose Both.

How do I join the beta?

Leave your email on the beta page. Invites go out in waves, and we email you when yours is ready, at the address you joined with.

How do I delete my account?

In the app: Profile, then Settings, then Delete account. It removes your account and your collection right away. If you can't sign in, email info@collect-o-rama.com from the address you signed up with.

Who makes Collect-O-Rama?

DCG Labs Inc., in Oakville, Ontario, Canada, founded by Bruno Ferrante: the team behind Diecast Garage. About has more on who we are, and you can write to us at info@collect-o-rama.com.

How is Collect-O-Rama related to Diecast Garage?

Both are made by DCG Labs Inc. Diecast Garage is built for die-cast car collectors. Collect-O-Rama grew out of it for collectors of everything else, from watches and sneakers to records and cards, and it keeps die-cast cars too, with their catalog and market prices. They are separate apps.
